Transient poetry
I developed the "transient" style for The Dice Made Me Do It before learning that I quite enjoyed the format as a quick, reflective meditation.

The basic form of the transient is simple: two verses establish the setting of the poem and the “foundational energy;” the setting is in stasis.
The third line is a single transitory word like “suddenly,” or “soon,” sparking action and movement.
After this “spark,” the poem concludes with four verses which “sweep through” the setting, disrupting it and inciting change while also perhaps reflecting on where it is headed or where it was.
